Understanding Infants
At Creative Care Montessori, our Infant Program is designed for children up to 15 months old. During these early months, babies explore the world through touch, sound, sight, and movement. Which is why sensory learning is at the heart of our approach. Our classrooms are safe, stimulating spaces filled with textures, sounds, and colors that encourage curiosity and early development.
We understand that saying goodbye can be tough for parents, so we work closely with your family to create a smooth transition from home to childcare. Before your child’s first day, we’ll discuss everything from nap routines and diaper changes to feeding preferences, ensuring a personalized plan for your little one.
Your Infant’s Day
From day one, our focus is to maintain your infant’s familiar home routine while introducing gentle structure and social comfort. With our low educator-to-child ratio, each infant receives dedicated attention, helping them feel secure as they learn and play.
Our program adapts to every child’s individual pace, supporting developmental goals such as:
- Understanding and responding to sounds
- Building hand-eye coordination
- Learning to self-feed
- Developing balance and motor skills
- Beginning communication through gestures or sign language
Proprietary Programs
Our caring educators create opportunities for discovery throughout the day from stacking blocks and finger painting to storytime. Every activity is designed to stimulate your infant’s senses and nurture confidence.
We also introduce specialized activities such as:
- Sign Language Fundamentals – Building early communication through gestures.
- Introduction to French – Encouraging language recognition at a young age.
- Kidco Yoga – Helping infants develop body awareness and relaxation through gentle movement.
Nutrition
Healthy habits start early. The Kidco Kitchen provides balanced, freshly prepared meals and snacks developed by our nutritionist and cooked by our chefs. Infants enjoy a nutritious lunch and multiple snacks throughout the day, including a late-afternoon snack around 5 p.m.
Nursing mothers are always welcome to visit, and we provide a private, comfortable space for feeding when needed.
Communication With Parents
We believe that strong communication between educators and families helps children thrive.
The parents receive daily reports with updates on:
- Meals and nap times
- Activities and learning highlights
- Milestones and developmental progress
Parents can also view their children through secure classroom webcams, giving them peace of mind and a window into their child’s day.
